A full audit: the redirect loop, holes in the landing pages, outdated positioning
A tax and corporate site where 45% of all requests went into an endless redirect
live · Audit and shipping the fixes to production
What it is
A site about taxes, jurisdictions and international structures. The audit of 31 August 2026 found five root causes for the vanished enquiries, and the first one is beautiful: a snippet on the 404 page appended .html to any miss and looped the redirects — 45% of all production requests were 301s. Another eight pages that external publications linked to simply did not exist. Meanwhile the positioning still lived in 2015, with emoji in meta descriptions and "buy an offshore" in the headings.
